NEW MOON ON MONDAY ASTROLOGY

Happy Halloween!  This afternoon’s square between Venus and Neptune will be putting a decidedly decadent spin on any festivities happening post weekend.  Mercury’s in the mix too, so it’s super social.  Both Venus and Mercury will move on from Scorpio into Sagittarius this coming Wednesday – watch for things to get way more adventurous.  With the planet Uranus in a fellow fire sign, they’re sure to be unpredictable too.  Get out into the world and see what you can find – it most definitely won’t be boring.  Next week:  the Full Moon in Taurus and Neptune returns to forward motion.

ARIES

If you’re feeling discouraged now, rest assured you’ll have your words and your grace completely back by the end of the weekend.  In the meantime, focus on faking it.  Swallow your pride and step up to the plate and even the things you’ve been dreading will seem easy in retrospect.  Think of this as the time to make investments in keeping your cool.  You’re getting to know a less impulsive side of yourself, and learning how to use it is going to be absolutely crucial in getting the thing you’re striving for.  Stay on your feet.

TAURUS 

Have as much fun as possible this week, but remember to take at some time out every day to keep in touch with yourself.  This afternoon’s square between Venus and nebulous Neptune makes it all too easy to get swept up in fantasies.  The more you can remember what you really truly stand for, the more you’ll be able to see the workable possibilities through the fog.  Next week’s Full Moon in your sign will be shining the spotlight on how far you’ve come this year.  Make it a point to show up for that. 

GEMINI

Remember where you’re coming from.  You know now what you need to keep strong for yourself so that you have more to give back to others.  This is a good week to practice that understanding and push the superficial toward something that’s way more sincere.  Your other option is keeping things as light as possible and never revealing anything past your surface but the thing is, that absolutely won’t get you the results you’re looking for.  Taking certain conversations to the next level, on the other hand, will be helping you make connections you’ll always remember. 

CANCER

Hopefully you’re feeling completely like yourself again.  It’s a good week for getting plenty of things accomplished – you definitely have the energy, even if you still need to find your momentum.  Watch for things to start moving faster and faster as the days progress and you’ll be reaping some very fine rewards as soon as next week’s Full Moon in a very friendly earth sign.   Don’t be timid about using your support system, even if that forces you to make some adjustments in your usual process.  The chances are strong you’ll be glad you did. 

LEO

You’re looking for some recognition.  If it’s not coming quite as fast as you’d like, know you’ll be seeing it as soon as next week.  Even better, the chances are good that by then you’ll have even more to show for yourself.  Use this time to wade even deeper into your current creative process and you’ll be seeing some epic results.  This is especially true of any projects you might be working on with other people.   You’re about to enter one of the most prolific periods of your year so far – get ready to use it. 

VIRGO

Anticipation.  You can sense a whole new chapter coming on, but it’s taking forever to get moving.  Take advantage of that – now’s the perfect time for nesting. You’re about to have massive doses of drive when the planet Mars enters your sign late next week for a stay that lasts through early July.  Mars usually spends about two months in each sign but due to a retrograde in Virgo, he’ll be with you for four times that long.  Now’s the week to think about how you’d like to use all that energy. 

LIBRA

You’re in for a fabulous few weeks, as long as you can keep your feet on the ground.  Your Venus ruler’s square to Neptune in a fellow air sign is making it all too easy to just get lost in the pretty stuff, so it’s important to remember where you’re actually trying to go.  The more you get past the superficial, the more benefits you see about staying in touch with reality.  This includes being straight and sincere about what know for sure with yourself as well as other people.  Play up your differences. 

SCORPIO

Go with it.  The more you can see and appreciate everything that’s happening for you right now, the better your chances of finding the creative inspiration that helps things keep moving forward.  This week you have plenty of room to express yourself, take advantage.  Write your dreams and feelings and ideas down, take pictures, make something for somebody.  Even better, make something for yourself.  You’re about to have a major year and someday you’ll be glad for the keepsakes.  Watch for clues as to what’s about to manifest under next week’s Full Moon in your opposite sign. 

SAGITTARIUS 

The more you start making even baby steps toward what you want to happen, the more evidence you’ll see that it’s already starting to.  Mercury and Venus both enter your sign this coming Wednesday, helping you find more people to share it with.  The pace of things in your world is about to get faster and faster.  Be as forward as possible in the coming days, remember to keep it organized, and you’ll soon see some insanely productive results.  The best part is, it’s all about helping you gain some brand new belief in yourself. 

CAPRICORN

Pay attention to your dreams, and your intuition.  There’s all sorts of stuff going on beneath the surface for you right now, and the more you can recognize it, the more in touch you’ll start to be with what you’re really feeling.  And that’s got plenty of benefits toward your ambition.  Make some time this week, even if it’s just during showers or commutes, to think about all the things you always knew would happen for sure, and all the things that turned out differently.  Then try to see how you might have been expecting the differences too. 

AQUARIUS

You’re feeling the onset of a brand new chapter even more strongly as Neptune prepares to station direct in your sign next week.  Neptune has been in Aquarius since 1998 except for a brief stint in Pisces during the warmer months of this year.  Now that its about to move onward and out, you’re getting some big hints about the shape your future days are taking.  Think about what’s changed already, as well as where you’re finally ready to let go.  You’re about to have a million opportunities to make significant progress in version two point you.  Midweek is absolutely the time to get moving. 

PISCES

This week has everything to do with validation.  Look for clues all over the place that confirm what you’ve been sensing, and make sure to give yourself credit for how you came to your conclusions.  Venus and Mercury square your Neptune ruler as the week begins, bringing some challenges in how you’re expressing yourself. Be wary of giving false explanations, they’ll only trip you up.  Keep it sincere and you’re in for some useful revelations and an absolutely epic weekend.  Neptune’s return to forward motion next week means things are going to keep moving straight ahead.
