Venus Square Saturn

Venus in Capricorn will be making an exact square to Saturn in Libra early Sunday morning (at 6:18 am pacific standard time). 

That’s weekend weather that can put the full brakes on the love and the romance stuff.  But here’s the good news: 

Venus and Saturn are currently doing something called “Mutual Reception”.  That means that Venus is in Capricorn, the sign that Saturn rules, and Saturn is in Libra, a sign that Venus rules.  In other words, they’re in each other’s territory.  It’s like they swapped houses.  Or wives.  Or lives.  In any case, it lends some empathy.  Even though they’re in square, the two planets are somehow working together.  

Venus in the setting of Capricorn is ambitious, and wants to get whatever it needs to right in order to get ahead.  

Saturn in the setting of Libra is fair.  It’s making sure that everybody’s putting in their fair share, and that includes taking responsibility.  

Squares always bring changes, and this particular square is all about setting some very important boundaries to who’s giving what in your current situation.  But it’s a good thing, and it’s going to make everything better in the end.
