NEW MOON ON MONDAY ASTROLOGY

GENERAL FORECAST

Everybody’s pining.  The Sun and Mercury both meet up with Venus Retrograde this week.  This could have us running into/ hearing from old friends and lovers, or at the very least, thinking a lot about them.  As for Mars, he’s moving on – leaving the deep waters of Scorpio for the bold fire of Sagittarius.  We haven’t had any fire in our Astrological weather since the summer,  so we’re all a bit starved for that kind of creative energy.  Speaking of Fire, the Moon will be in Leo over Halloween weekend, sending out the flashy vibes.  It’s a good year for putting some extra effort in your costume:  everybody will be trying their damndest to be the star of the show.  Next week: a New Moon in Scorpio and Neptune’s return to forward motion.

ARIES

Best Weekend Ever. You feel more like yourself than you have in a while.  Your Mars ruler moving into a fellow fire sign has you amped up and ready to go.  Toward the end of the week, the energy supports you in every way.  Get ready to celebrate Halloween as much as you can and make a million memories!

TAURUS

You’re missing something you used to have. It could be a person, a resource, or both.  The important thing is to realize how well you’ve learned to adjust to that absence, and how much you’ve learned in the meantime.  It’s more about what you’ve got now. Mars moves out of Scorpio mid-week, and things get way more peaceful. 

GEMINI

Use your words.  Angry situations at work or home could grow into mountains over the next few weeks if you’re not careful.  Now is the time to stop the drama in its tracks.  Your Mercury ruler hooking up with Venus Retrograde could bring an old flame out of the woodwork. 

CANCER

Make a big dinner for someone you love.  The days are still golden, but now’s your chance to nest a while.  The Moon in your sign for much of the workweek brings the kind of comfortable homey vibes you work best with. Next week: the New Moon in a fellow water sign brings things full-circle.   

LEO

A change in the game.  Mars moves into a fellow Fire sign and brings you an unexpected surge of energy.  Don’t waste it pining away for yesterday’s uncatchable crush.  The Moon in Leo for most of Halloween weekend puts you right back into the spotlight.  Live it up! 

VIRGO

Take your chances. There are small opportunities all over the place but it’s up to you to see them for what they are and get them while you can.  Your Mercury ruler’s merge with Venus Retrograde could have you longing for the good old days.  Keep your eyes on the road ahead.  

LIBRA

It’s all about using your creativity to support your growth instead of getting lost in your imagination. Balancing equal parts discipline and vision is the key to surviving the changes you’re currently being faced with.  Your Venus ruler is up to all sorts of business this week, bringing back old issues you thought had long ago been put to bed.

SCORPIO

Everything hits at once.  You’ll have a hard time finding any spare moments for yourself this week but it’s only because there are too many opportunities you just can’t pass up on.  Recognize the gifts you’re getting for what they are and start setting intentions for this next year of your life.  Next week: the New Moon in Scorpio. 

SAGITTARIUS

Mars moves into your sign midweek, the first in a parade of planets that will be bringing plenty of action to your world for the rest of 2010.  It’s all about getting prepared, and Mars gives you the energy to do just that.  Small deals could seem bigger than they have to be.  Concentrate on your to-do list.
